"I highly recommend Jennifer as an attorney. My initial consultation with her was wonderful. I felt relief and great right after I consulted with her, most especially; I was out of state at that time. She has helped me in such a way that I don't feel intimidated. She was thorough throughout my experience as well as dependable. I was also very encouraged by her honesty and compassion.

Surely I have other choices for an attorney, but I chose Jennifer because my consultation with her gave me a great impression of her qualities as I have also described above."
— Ron, Former Client
"I am very happy with my lawyer who handled my divorce. During a difficult time she was understanding and supportive. It was such a relief and comfort to have someone on my side looking out for my best interests. After talking to several people who have recently been divorced, I am even more grateful for the job Mrs. McDonald did. When I hear about some of the terms of friends divorces I feel lucky to of had Mrs. McDonald, as I did not have to "give up" too much and she knew what was important to me. I would definitely recommend her services."
— Stephanie, Former Client

CHILD AND FAMILY INVESTIGATOR
A Child and Family Investigator (“CFI”) is a third-party neutral who is hired in a child custody case to do a brief and focused assessment of the best interest of the children. The CFI is hired by the parties, or appointed by the Court.

The CFI has an opportunity to visit each parent's home, interview both parents, interview other related people and interested parties, and meet with the minor children. The CFI then writes a report for the Court regarding what they have observed of the parties. The CFI makes recommendations to the Court regarding parenting time and decision making, based on what they believe is in the best interest of the minor child/children.

Our attorneys are experienced in working with CFIs, and will be able to tell you if hiring a child and family investigator would be beneficial in your case.

Jennifer McDonald, an attorney at our firm, is a trained Child and Family Investigator. She is available for CFI appointments. Please call our firm to discuss her appointment if you would like to hire her for an investigation. Her email is JMcDonald@JenniferMcDonaldLaw.com and our phone number is 720-345-2867.
